Emergent Communication – Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 7:00 PM

Worshipful Master W. Steven Willis has called an Emergent Communication on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of examining a candidate on the Fellowcraft Degree. We look forward to seeing all Brethren who are able to attend.

To Brethren Interested in Becoming a Scottish Rite Mason:

Due to the economic times, we are offering a payment schedule so we can have more candidates for the Fall Reunion. My personal goal is 75 candidates. In setting up this payment schedule starting in July, a candidate can pay a payment to the Charlotte SR Bodies of only $75 per month for four months. The only requirement is that all money must be paid in full prior to the beginning of the Reunion. Let’s all work together to make this a great Reunion. On another note; I still have many Blue Lodges without an Ambassador. Let’s step up to the plate and appoint an Ambassador for each Lodge who can recruit as many candidates as possible as well as promote the Charlotte Scottish Rite for our Reunions. With this in mind, we can reach our goal of 75 candidates.

King Solomon 704 Accepts the Traveling Gavel of the 36th Masonic District from Gaston 263

On Monday, June 8, 2009, brethren from King Solomon 704 in Gastonia visited Gaston 263 in Dallas to accept the Traveling Gavel. Worshipful Master W. Steven Willis extends an offer to all lodges in the 36th Masonic District to visit King Solomon 704 to receive the Traveling Gavel. In order to accept the gavel, a visiting lodge must have at least five brethren present. If more than one lodge visits and each has more than five brethren, then the lodge with the greatest number of visiting brethren will receive the Traveling Gavel.
