On Monday, June 8, 2009, brethren from King Solomon 704 in Gastonia visited Gaston 263 in Dallas to accept the Traveling Gavel. Worshipful Master W. Steven Willis extends an offer to all lodges in the 36th Masonic District to visit King Solomon 704 to receive the Traveling Gavel. In order to accept the gavel, a visiting lodge must have at least five brethren present. If more than one lodge visits and each has more than five brethren, then the lodge with the greatest number of visiting brethren will receive the Traveling Gavel.
